Logan found the sport of skimo when it occurred to him that he could combine his two favorite sports, running and downhill skiing, into one winter activity. His first time competing in a skimo race was the 2015 Grand Traverse in which he spent a very long and cold night crossing the Elk Mountains contemplating his future in the sport. Since then Logan has competed at a high level both domestically and internationally in skimo races ranging from ISMF World Cups to the Pierra Menta. His favorite races involve long technical courses with plenty of vert and exciting skiing. Outside of the race scene Logan enjoys skiing pow in the winter and running, climbing, and biking during the summer months, all in the mountains around Crested Butte, Colorado where he calls home. In his spare time he works as a full time Clinical Informaticist designing and implementing clinical decision support tools for physicians and care teams to better help meet patient needs.
