Christina Volken is an athlete and nurse living in Golden, CO, from Washington State.

As the daughter of a Mountain Guide and ski mountaineer she learned to backcountry ski from a young age, but started skimo racing later on.

Her years and love for mountain running and ski mountaineering eventually led her to racing. After a few local races in Washington, she joined the USA Skimo Team in the 21/22 season after moving to Colorado.

When not skiing or working she loves road cycling, traveling, going to see music, rock climbing, spending time with her family and drinking many cups of coffee.
