Adam Loomis was born and raised in Eau Claire, WI. He was exposed to a variety of sports at a young age, but took a particular liking to Nordic Combined (ski jumping and cross country skiing).  He competed for the US Nordic Combined Team from 2012 – 2018, during which he had  two World Championship berths and won two National Championship medals. 

Upon moving west to pursue Nordic Combined, Adam discovered his love of moving in the mountains.  After his Nordic Combined career, Adam turned to coaching and began to dabble in the sport of SkiMo.  Now based in Park City, UT, he has two full winters of Skimo racing under his belt.  Adam is also a competitive mountain runner, with strong finishes in events ranging from Mount Marathon in 2019 to the 2021 Bear 100. In his professional life, Adam works as the Program Director of Park City Ski and Snowboard’s Skimo Team and Program Director and Head Coach of their Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Team.
